Maratona 6h Boca do Inferno #indielisboa

Um musical com polícias e ladrões, a riot of laughter from top to bottom, great ending <3

7.5/10

What a visual ride, each scenario had so much detail, a fast paced Miyazaki meets Luc Besson's 'Taxi' series with oddball lines instead of any deep underlining morals, all for the fun!

8.5/10

Robert Morganesque sketch, puke and dead babies on the doctor's waiting room are my cup of tea!!

Damn son... what have you guys been dropping... jaw on the floor color scheme as if Google Deep Dream itself was reaching singularity and we're watching its first existential crisis!

9.5/10

Well filmed but... so what? There's very little here. She could basically drag anything out of her mouth in that scene, it would amount to the same twist as far as I'm concerned.

A bit like a Claire Denis way of approaching the paranormal. Very slow, very silent film, an empty Paris afraid of facing its nightmares, probably the zombie movie with less dead zombies I've ever witnessed. The main character seemed almost happy that the world was gone, but not eager to get any revenge, just to stay put and wait it out. A woman gave him a sec of thirst for life, but that didn't last, nor his sanity was so sure about such a boringly safe lifestyle.
A great effort to give it another go at the same ol' genre. Why the fuck not, right?

Nothing much but on the # spot for the perfect punchline.

Hilarious, very Jacques Tati on Safari in the XXI century, breeze of fresh air, merci :)

More of the same, predictable as fuck but worth it, some stuff about male privilege have to continue being jammed in our skulls until we collectively get the fuckin' point already (!!!).

A treat. Superb. This is the kind of movie I need to do one day. Although by the end of it I heard hipsters commenting: "Oh, all psychedelic movies are the same, you see one, you've seen them all...". Well, if you don't like the genre, that's fair enough. If you don't understand Jungian archetypes, you'd probably be surprised how repetitive your own dreams are (if you could bother to remember them). Plus, "Let the Corpses Tan" is incredibly novel when it comes to the treatment they do in cut scenes, it works JUST like a dream, each scene melts onto the next one in an immaculate way. Sure, it does get repetitive that endless cowboy shooting between all of the characters, but I believe that's intentional and leaves me wondering why? To all piss poor critics: if you never made a film, take a long breath before criticizing one with the amount of care put into it. You literally have no clue what you're talking about. You just think you do, which is tiresome to observe. It's way easier to say something is shit just cuz you're comparing it with other movies you've liked it. I don't think movies were made to be put into a lens of comparison!

A refreshing mix of Jodorowksy with Godard (it feels the film starts in the time and place where Pierrot, il Fou ended). I can't compliment this (couple?) of directors enough. Thanks a bunch!
I'll be googling you very soon ;)
