The chants, the holding hands and dancing around the fire all night long in the 1200meter high cold somehow rapidly sinks in and starts to feel very right in every human being, as if, we've all done this in the past for many millennia. Although I was aware Rainbow Gathering's follow a certain degree of rules and appear to be a cult-like meeting of like minded hippie souls... the fact to the matter is that all the rules and quite basic and make their absolute sense in order to maintain a surviving community of 2000 people eating and breathing and happy in the middle of a not easily accessible mountain valley somewhere in the Pre-Alps. It was a phenomenal experience to turn off, tune in, and join in since it has become actually revolutionary these days to just experience nature and perceive time in the wild with no job description, deadlines or emails, (neither drugs, booze or transports), just ourselves and our body-mind, exploring the outskirts of a living nomadic utopia <3
